1. Countries that can enter Qatar without a visa

To apply for a Qatar visa online, you must:
- Complete the online application form and attach all supporting documents.
- Pay the visa fee through your debit/credit card (visa or Mastercard).

Notes:
Citizens of Egypt, Israel, Kosovo, and Palestine are not eligible to apply for a Qatar visa online. They should contact the nearest Qatari embassy or consulate to find out how to proceed with the visa application.
6. Applying for a Qatar transit visa
If you are going to pass through Qatar on your way to a third destination and have a stopover longer than five hours, you can apply for a Qatar transit visa. A Qatari transit visa is issued free of charge, you can use it to enter and stay in Qatar for up to four days (96 hours).
You are applying for a Qatar transit visa online, in the same way as for a tourist visa. You will receive the visa via e-mail.
Qatar transit visa cannot be extended beyond 4 days! If you want to stay longer than 4 days, you can apply for a regular tourist visa.
To apply, you must provide a scanned copy of your passport, a travel ticket, and a visa to the third destination country (if a permit is required). Both your domestic and outbound flights must be operated by Qatar Airways.

You can apply for an extension at the Immigration Office of the Ministry of the interior of Qatar at Hamad International Airport or any of the Ministry of Interior service centers throughout the country.
If you are from one country that is allowed to stay in Qatar without a visa for up to 90 days within a 180-day period, you cannot extend your stay.
Exceeding the allowed period means that you have to pay a fee before departure (Qar 200 per day, which is approximately USD 54 per day).
